Lemon Water

Health Benefits of Drinking Lemon water:
1. Better digestion
Lemon may help a large number of digestive problems when combined with hot water, such as nausea, heartburn and parasites. Lemon helps the bowel to dispose waste, including preventing constipation. The lemon reduces the amount of mucus production in the body, helps dissolve gallstones and acts as a liver cleansing and detoxifying.
2. Superior for the skin
The lemon is a natural antiseptic that can treat skin problems. Lemon is rich in vitamin C, which is in part responsible for the appearance of a healthy skin and can help alleviates wrinkles and spots on the skin. You can use lemon directly on the skin to reduce scarring damage.
3. Better dental care
Lemon water is also good for dental care. Using lemon water on painful teeth may relieve the pain. Using lemon water on gums can also stop them from bleeding. But beware that lemon may also cause some damage to the enamel surfaces of the teeth, so don’t overuse it.
4. Cures throat infections
The lemon helps us in treating throat infections, such as sore throat. Just Squeeze half a lemon with half a glass of water and gurgle frequently and the sore throat will soon disappear.

One of the better things about lemon water is that it make us lose weight faster. One reason is that lemon is full of pectin fibers that make us feel satisfy for longer. So just mix lemon with lukewarm water and honey – it may help your diet.
6. Controls high blood pressure
Lemon water helps to control high blood pressure, vertigo, nausea, as well as provide peace and relaxation to the body. Water with lemon were found to help relieve stress and depression.
7. Reduces fever
Water with lemon may help people suffering from cold or flu. This is probably caused by increased sweat due to the lemon consumption, which helps to reduce fever.
8. Source of antioxidants
Water with lemon is an excellent source of antioxidants, which prevent the development of free radicals in our body. Also water with lemon can help us in treating hangover. Water with lemon have no calories just like plain water, but they taste better, help balance blood sugar, stimulate metabolism and cleanse our skin.
Instructions:
- It is recommended to drink water with lemon every morning, on an empty stomach (a glass of warm water with the juice of a quarter or half a fresh lemon).
- It is recommended to drink another cup also in the evening.
- It is recommended to avoid extreme temperatures of water (hot or cold), so as not to damage the stomach lining.
