Natural Tips : Skin Glow and Hair Shine!

Have you ever considered looking in your pantry, rather than your bathroom cabinet, for beauty products? Instead of throwing money at the latest lab-engineered product that guarantees youthful skin, why not turn back to nature to find your glow? 1.       Coconut Oil
Organic unrefined virgin coconut oil is about to become your skin and hair’s best friend. Lather it on your hair for 30 minutes before washing off for the most nourishing hair mask you’ve ever tried. Ditch your makeup remover and simply dab coconut oil over your eyelids before using a gentle cleanser to remove any makeup or dirt.
2.       Strawberry
There’s nothing better than a facial scrub once a week! Mash 1 cup fresh strawberries with 3 tablespoons sea salt for a scrub naturally rich in vitamin E and C.
3.       Avocado
After your strawberry scrub, slather avocado on your face. Leave it on, and go about your morning routine for 15 minutes before washing off. The healthy fats in avocado are nourishing both inside and outside your body.
4.       Brown Sugar
Eliminated refined sugar from your diet? Don’t let the half-empty bag in your pantry go to waste! For a simple body scrub to keep your skin smooth all summer long, mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with 1/4 cup olive or coconut oil. Scrub away dry skin in the shower and step out smoother than ever!

5.       Green Tea Bags
After steeping your morning cup of green tea, throw the bags into the fridge. After a late night out when your eyes are feeling a little puffy, cover your eyes with these cooled tea bags. Lay down for 10-15 minutes and then pop up bright eyed!
Don’t forget that what you eat reflects easily in your skin and hair quality. Besides sticking to a clean plant-based diet, hydration is key to keeping your skin radiant.
